In the name of God, Amen, I Richard Coy of Manchester, in the County of Essex in the Province of the Massachusetts Bay in New England, M________man, Being in Health of body and my memory, and reasonable disposing faculty being continued to me, blessed be God for it, and now calling to mind the uncertainty of this temporal life, and that all flesh must yield to death whenever it shall please God to call, I do ordain and appoint this to be my last Will and Testament, and by these presents, I do make null and void every Will and Testament by me heretofore made, and this only to be my Last Will and Testament in manner as followeth.
And first I commit my Soul to Almighty God who gave it, hoping in and through the meretorious rightiousness of the Lord, Jesus Christ, to find mercy with God on the Last Day, and my Body I commit to the Earth from whence it was taken, to be decently intered at the discretion of the Executor, herein after named, and touching the worldly goods and estate which God hath graciously given me, my will as to the disposal of them is as followeth:
Item: That all my just debts and funeral charges be fully answered and paid out of my estate by my Executor, after named.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my well Beloved wife, Kathrin Coy, the free use and improvement of all my Real Estate, both housing and land that is situatte and being in the townships of Manchester and Beverly or elswhere, during her natural life, and for her support, if need be, to sell, part or any part thereof, as she wants support.
Item: Also I give unto my said wife, Kathrin Coy, all personal estate of what sort soever to be hers and at her disposal forever.
Item: I give and bequeath what is left after her decease to Mary Downing and her heirs lawfully begotten of her body by Samuel Downing.
Lastly: I do by these presents, constitute, ordain, and appoint my well Beloved wife, Kathrin Coy, to be sole Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, exhorting her to see that this Will be Executed according to the true meaning thereof. And, in witness that this and the foregoing page are my Last Will and Testament, I do set here unto my hand and seal this Second Day of February anno domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Six.

Essex. Salem Feb 2nd, 1767 Before the Honorable Nathaniel Ropes, Esq., Judge of Probate of Wills, in and for said County of Essex, personally appeared John Tuexbury and Caleb Coy and made oath that they were present and saw Richard Coy, late of Manchester, deceased, sign, seal, and heard him publish, pronounce, and declare this instrument to be his Last Will and Testament, and when he so did he was of a sound mind and memory in their judgement, and that they together with Samuel Hilton, set to their hands at the same time in his presence as witnesses.
Attest. Samuel Rogers, Reg. Upon which this will is proof, approved and allowed, and the seal of the office thereto affixed. The Executrix appeared and accepted that trust and to give in an _____ in 60 days.

You are hereby appointed a Committee to appraise on oath all the Estate of Mr Richard Coye, late of Manchester, Dec'd and make return unto the Registry Office of the Court of Probate in said County, given under my hand this Sixth Day of January A.D. 1767. Nathaniel Ropes, J. Prob.

Essex Co. Jan 6th, 1767 Then, Mr John Tewxbury, above mentioned, was sworn by me, Nath'l Ropes, J. Prob.

Essex Co, Manchester, 21st January 1767 Then Mr Andrew Woodbury and Mr Daniel Edwards appeared and were sworn before John Lee, Just. Peace

To the Honorable Nathaniel Ropes, Esq, Judge of Probate of Wills for the County of Essex. We, the subscribers, appointed by Your Honor a Committee to appraise all the Estate of Richard Coy, late of Manchester, Deceased, which we have done in the following manner. (viz)
